BALIF is organizing a virtual silent auction September 21, 2023 benefitting the California LGBTQ Health & Human Services Network (the “Network”), an LGBTQ-specific Health Advocacy Organization that advocates for LGBTQ health. The group has fought against diseases such as HIV/AIDS, COVID-19, and Monkeypox. This year we are honoring their work on COVID, a disease that is still alive in the community, including the immunocompromised (like those living with HIV/AIDS and breast cancer).
When and Where is the Event? The silent auction begins online on September 10, 2023. The final day of the auction and the party celebrating the event will be September 21, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the El Rio Bar located at 3158 Mission Street in San Francisco.
Since this event supports advocacy on the COVID-19 pandemic, we request that everyone mask to make the space COVID safe.
If you choose not to participate in the silent auction but want to attend the party, tickets are $25 at the door and every dollar benefits the Network, so bring lots of friends.
If you have the capacity, please consider donating the cost of an additional ticket. Your contribution will allow the BALIF community to enjoy this event, while ensuring we can raise life-saving funds for the Network.
