Gender Ambiguity in the Workplace: Transgender and Gender-Diverse Discrimination

The Unintended Consequence of Diversity Statements (HBR Article)

Description of presentation:

The legal field often imposes strict notions of presentability and respectability that are deeply rooted in traditional gender norms and expectations. This training will help identify the ways in which the legal workplace can be more accepting and affirming of those who live outside the gender binary. This training is applicable for everyone working within or in contact with the legal field, including law firms, in house counsel, nonprofit organizations, and public sector agencies. In addition to identifying best practices, this training will address compliance issues as they relate to anti-discrimination and sexual harassment prohibitions under California law. Eligible for Elimination of Bias CLE credit
