Emily Hunt

Emily Hunt (she/her) is a third-year law student at Berkeley Law. She is passionate about representing low-income people in the criminal legal system and has worked for the public defender offices in Contra Costa, San Francisco, Solano, and Alameda Counties. She logged over 200 pro bono hours helping low-income clients secure post-conviction relief (like expungements and sentence reductions) through the Contra Costa Reentry Project (CORE) at Berkeley Law. She is proud to be part of the queer community and continue to engage in queer organizing, especially in the legal community.
