Staff Attorney, Eviction Defense Collaborative
Using his experience planning and organizing events ranging from his Black Law Students Graduation ceremony to a trip to Disneyland with friends and even planning one of America's largest student run festivals at his college, Brandon is excited to be Social Chair. Brandon wants to not only organize amazing events for BALIF, but also to encourage people to join and donate to BALIF. He is excited to be Social Chair and hopes you are excited and looking forward to the events this year.

Brandon Lawrence is an attorney specializing in landlord/tenant law at the Eviction Defense Collaborative in San Francisco. Brandon is a 2012 graduate of University of San Francisco School of Law and received his undergraduate degree in Philosophy at the Johns Hopkins University in 2008.
Throughout law school, Brandon was an active member in USF's Pride Law, the Black Law Students Association, and the Public Interest Law Foundation. When not in class, he was a law clerk for the AIDS Legal Referral Panel and the Eviction Defense Collaborative, where he developed a passion for working for people who did not have access or funds to having an attorney.
In addition to being a newly licensed attorney and serving on the BALIF board, in his spare time, Brandon plays soccer and is an avid runner. Due to his love of soccer and running, Brandon is a member of two LGBT friendly organizations in San Francisco that allows his interests in both to thrive.
