On Saturday June 8, 2013 from 10 am-12 pm, Kelly McCown and Jeptha Evans will present a free seminar in downtown San Francisco, "Immigration Options for Binational Couples after DOMA (the Defense of Marriage Act)." The seminar is co-sponsored by Out4Immigration, www.out4immigration.org.

Ms. McCown and Mr. Evans will discuss the impact on LGBT immigration if DOMA is struck down by the U.S. Supreme Court in a decision expected by late June, as well as the major benefits to same sex bi-national couples that would result, including green cards based on marriage, fiancé visas, and more.

Participants will:
  • Learn how same sex binational couples will benefit after DOMA
  • Know the requirements for fiancĂ© visas or marriage-based green cards
  • Understand the differences between applying in the U.S. and abroad
This seminar is free, but RSVP is required to: info@mccownevans.com or (415)834-9123.
Exact downtown San Francisco location will be emailed to registrants the week of June 3. This seminar will also be recorded and the video posted to YouTube for later viewing. For additional information, please see www.mccownevans.com.
